One main problem associated with menopause is lethargy and fatigue. Women experience tiredness even after 8-10 hours of sleep every day. They find it tiring to complete the most mundane of tasks. This problem of fatigue can be taken care of by eating a nutritious diet.
Since all women have to go through menopause, it is best that women take care of their diet since the beginning. This will help deal with menopause better. Cut down sugar, fats, oil and starch from your diet. Instead eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Cook your vegetables in low fat oil like olive oil or mustard oil.
Snack on nuts and feast on cereals and whole grains. Milk should also be an important part of your diet. Drink at least two glasses of milk and have a bowl of curd every day. This will help fight osteoporosis that results from menopause.
Lift your mood and lessen your anxiety levels by drinking at least two cups of herbal tea every day. Teas like chamomile, peppermint and jasmine are excellent for soothing your nerves and bringing you mental calm and happiness.
