5 Amazing Bee Stings Home Remedies
If you are in love with nature and love gardening, then it may be one of the common problems of your daily life. Bees make their hives in places where we can hardly reach, but the problem is the hive. The main problem is that bees feed on flower nectar. Below, I will try to list down the most effective home remedies for bee stings. You need you wash off the area nicely with cold running water and then opt for the below mentioned home remedy.
Home Remedies For Bee Stings
This is a very generic and one of the easiest remedy for bee sting. You just need to peel off one clove of garlic and crush it. Squeeze out the juice and apply it on the area which is stung.
You may also place the paste on the affected area for some time and press it with your finger. This will help in giving you relief from the pain within 5 minutes. You can repeat this process again after 5 minutes, if you still feel the pain.
Baking Soda And Water
This is another easy and safe remedy for bee sting. You can make a paste with 1 teaspoon of baking soda and 1 teaspoon of water. Mix well to form a thick paste. Now apply this paste on the stung area. This will soothe the pain within 10 to 15 minutes. This is one time procedure which will give you give you instant relief. However, you can also use this remedy in intervals of 5 minutes for faster effect.
This is again an easy method to get rid of bee sting when you are busy. You just need to cut an onion and the place the slice on the affected area. If you have some time in your hand, then you may opt for the process of crushed onion. Peel one onion and crush it into a coarse paste.
Now apply this paste on the bee sting and keep it intact for about 10 to 15 minutes. This will give you relief from the burning sensation and the pain in about 20 minutes. However, you can keep the paste in the refrigerator for further use.
We generally prepare a paste with the raw mustard and store it for your kitchen use. This paste can be used for the problem of bee sting as well. You just need to wash off the affected area with cold running water and pat dry. Later apply this paste on the area and keep it on for about half an hour. This will give you relief from pain and swelling. You can do this thrice a day for complete recovery from the symptoms.
Honey is a natural antiseptic which reduces pain as well as infection. You just need to apply virgin honey on the affected areas and keep it intact for 5 to 10 minutes.
Repeat this procedure in intervals of 7 to 8 minutes to get complete relief from the burning sensation and swelling. The repeated uses of honey will save you from any kind of infection as well.
