6 DIY Facial Cleansers Straight From Your Kitchen:
The first one is the coconut milk.I absolutely cannot tell enough how good coconut milk is for your skin.Coconuts are rich in fibre,Vitamins C,B1,B3,B5,B6 and vitamin E and lots of minerals like iron, selenium, sodium, calcium, manganese and phosphorus. Moreover, the additional benefit is that it is lactose free,so it can be used even by those people who are intolerant to dairy products and lactose. It is anti bacterial and anti viral and gives a cooling effect to your skin.To extract coconut milk at home, peel off the coconut from the hard shell and grate the white part in a food processor or using a grating board.
Now add some hot water to this grated coconut white and let it rest for about 10 minutes. The coconut creamed milk can be skimmed off if you want before you proceed further. Now take a muslin cloth or any other finely porous cloth and cover an empty bowl using this cloth.Invert the coconut (grated) and water mixture over it and squeeze the grated coconut to extract more and more milk from it.Take a cotton swab ,dip it in the coconut milk and gently cleanse your face.Make sure to move the cotton only in the upward and side-ward directions to give you a face lift.It will slowly take off all the make up you are wearing and may work even better than the facial cleansing product that you normally use.
Lemon And Honey Mask
Damp a towel with hot water and put it on your face for about 10 minutes.Squeeze a lemon and add two table spoons of honey and yogurt each to it and mix well. Now use your fingers to smoothen and apply this mask to your face.Gently scrub for 5 minutes and then leave it on for 5 more minutes. Now wash away using a little cold water. You can also use some crushed ice to lock your clean pores. Then apply a moisturiser.
Oatmeal And Green Tea
Use chamomile tea for much sensitive skin and green tea for all other skin types.Take a green tea bag and cut it from the top to take out all the dried green tea leaves.Add a spoonful of oats, mix and crush them. Now add some water for oily skin and for others, add a few drops of coconut oil as well.If coconut oil is not available, you can use olive oil as well.Add a few drops of rose water, mix well to form a thick paste.Use this mixture to gently scrub and exfoliate your face and get rid of all the dead skin cells.
Banana And Avocado
Mash a banana and an avocado in a bowl and add some milk to it.Mix to form a thick paste. You can use it as a mask,a gentle scrub or even as a no foam face wash.Works best for oily skin.
Baking Powder And Milk
Take a spoonful of baking powder, mix with a spoon of milk.If you are intolerant to milk and dairy products, use water and lemon juice.Apply on your face, rub for 5 minutes, leave it on and wash away. This is also helpful in lightening the complexion.
Aloe Vera Gel And Orange Pulp
Mix a tablespoon of aloe vera gel with orange juice.Apply on your face all over and let it dry. Then clean up.It will remove all the dirt sticking to your face and soften and smoothen your skin.
