The cysts known as follicle cysts are formed when the sac fails to rupture and release the egg within it. This cyst usually disappears in a period of 1-3 months. On the other hand the Corpus Leteum cyst does not dissolve after the release of the egg and is sealed off. The fluid that builds up inside the sac gives rise to cysts that may grow up to 4 inches in size. It is important to note that these cysts are generally non benign and do not cause cancer. They usually go away within a few weeks

What Are the Symptoms of Ovarian Cysts?

The symptoms connected with ovarian cysts are difficult to observe. Most of the common symptoms of ovarian cysts keep on developing continuously in a women’s body and cannot be attributed to ovarian cysts alone. If the menstrual cycles of the patient become irregular, unpredictable, painful or accompanied by heavy or abnormal discharge, then the same may be caused due to ovarian cysts .

Headaches, Nausea, Vomiting Or Lightheaded
