However, a few simple things that you do at home can ensure that your blood pressure does not rise uncontrollably and you do not have hypertension that can be a silent killer that is hiding behind the dubious walls. Hypertension is most commonly followed by feeling of dizziness, palpitations, extreme tiredness, pain in the chest and vision problems.
Some Remedies You Can Try
1. Garlic
Garlic acts as a natural blood thinning agent preventing clots in the blood that can lead to an attack and also in keeping the blood pressure balanced with regular consumption.
Garlic also helps in reducing plaque and cholesterol formations in the arteries of the heart which too can lead to high blood pressure as the heart pumps faster and harder. Make it a habit to consume 5-6 garlic cloves a day to beat all kinds of silent killers.
2. Lemon
Lemon juice contains vitamin P which can make the fragile capillaries strong and prevent them from breaking when you have hypertension. Take lemon juice every day to resist hypertension and also to prevent heart attacks.
3. Rice
When you have hypertension, salt intake has to be almost stopped to stay alive. So must you be careful about the fat intake and cholesterol levels in the body.
Rice is a grain that is low in all these harmful things mentioned above and hence a great food for keeping hypertension under control.
4. Indian Gooseberries
The exotic fruit seen in India is a globe full of nutrients that can treat a host of diseases of the body. Take 3 raw goose berries every day.

5. Watermelon
