Remedies For Late Menstrual Cycle
Parsley is a herb which is easily available and most effective for late periods. It is usually consumed in form of a herbal tea which could be drunk 3-4 times in a day. Both dried and fresh form of parsley could be successfully used to bring on periods.
Parsley herbal tea can be prepared by boiling fresh herb in water, letting it stain and steeping it for 20-30 minutes before drinking. Parsley juice could also be consumed alternatively and effectively.
Ginger is another commonly used herb which is readily available as the grocery store. Just like Parsley, it could be used in fresh or dried powdered form.
Ginger is a stimulating herb and may make you experience a hot flash and is effective in bringing on periods. Ginger could be added to tea, or could be boiled with water and drunk thrice daily to regulate the menstrual cycle.
There are some common fruits which have been proved to bring menses in case of delay. The most common one is papaya, which is often used for regulating periods; it could be consumed in raw and unripe form. Grapes, especially black ones are also very effective.
Grape juice could be drunk daily, or grapes could be consumed raw for regularizing your cycle. However, too much of grapes may cause loose motions. Pomegranate juice mixed with sugarcane juice, consumed thrice a day also brings periods.
Yarrow is another wonderful herb that is beneficial for all problems related to menstruation, including delayed menses. It is available in all herb shops and balances hormones inside a female’s body.
The cold yarrow tea can be taken 3-4 times in a day when menstruation is late. It relieves pain and pelvic congestion.
Various vegetables like carrots, radish, bitter gourd and others are effective for delayed periods. The decoction made from roots of bitter gourd can be consumed thrice a day for commencement of menses.
Grinded radish seeds in form of a paste can be taken with buttermilk for effective solutions. Raw carrot consumption also stimulates menstruation.
Banyan Tree Root
The roots of banyan trees are excellent remedies for late periods. Banyan tree roots can be collected, extracted and boiled to prepare a decoction. This decoction can be mixed with butter milk and taken before bedtime to have a stimulating effect over menstrual cycle. This should be followed for three consecutive menstrual cycles, which will definitely regularize your menstrual flow.
Delays in menstruation are not good for health and may lead to dangerous circumstances. The remedies mentioned above are reliable and effective cures of delayed menstruation. However, if you are allergic to any one of the above, you should avoid them.
