6 COMMON SYMPTOMS OF YEAST INFECTION

The vaginal yeast infection is a type of fungal or yeast infection. The fungus that leads to this infection is known by the name Candida albicans. This fungus is present in warm areas of the body. Almost 25-50 percent of women have a yeast infection in their vagina without showing any type of symptoms. But when these fungi go on multiplying then it leads to inflammation in the vagina, redness, bad odor due to discharge and irritation due to itchiness in the vagina.

Some types of bacteria live in the vagina all the time that leads to uncontrolled growth of Candida Albicans. This leads to the occurrence of many symptoms. The problem of yeast infection aggravates with the use of certain medicines, changes in the level of hormones and due to the existence of certain diseases. Around 75% of the females suffer from this problem in their life at some point of time.

A yeast infection is not a sexually transmitted disease but some men get some problem of itching and penile rash due to the sexual contact with the affected partner. Normally it is not a major disease and can be treated with certain medicines. But if the yeast infection is too much then it may lead to some serious complications. Pain while Urinating

Some women feel pain while urinating also. Whenever the woman has to go to urinate , pain is felt in the vaginal area. This is due to the acidic reaction of urine with the bacteria present in the vulva.
