Banana itself is good for helping with ulcers. However, its peel is also considered beneficial. Just rub it against the ulcer delicately so that it coats the ulcer thinly.
Prepare green tea and let it cool down. The flavanoids present in the tea are good for ulcer. Also, the tea itself has soothing effect on the ulcer.
Take cold milk and rinse your mouth with it. It quickens the process of healing the ulcer. Alternatively, you can sip the milk five to six times in a day. Just make sure it is cold. Hot milk can cause a lot of damage to the ulcer aggravating the problem
Spinach And Celery
Spinach and celery are very effective on ulcers especially if the cause of ulcer is deficiency of iron. Best results can be obtained if you just blanch and blend these as one part spinach and one part celery. Avoid overcooking it. Consume like soup.
Beetroot is a very rich source of Iron. You can either add to your food as salad or in gravies to colour them rich. Beetroot soup is also a good option.
Alternatively while boiling your rice add a few slices in the water. It will give rice a beautiful maroon colour and not spoil the taste of it.
Turmeric is known for its excellent anti-septic properties. Take some raw turmeric and rub it against a pestle with water on it.
Apply the resultant paste directly on the ulcer. It may burn for a few seconds but the healing of the ulcer will be quicker.
