Black Cohosh is effective for six months and helps in getting rid of hot flashes and night sweats which women generally experience at the start of menopause.
It is available as tincture which means as drops to put into water and also as tablets known as MenoHerb.
Evening Primrose
Evening Primrose is mostly known for dealing with breast pain. Earlier it was available as EFFAMAST or EPOGAM, but now you can buy it as Evening Primrose oil or Borage oil.
In each capsule, you can get great amount of gamma linoleic acid and after taking it for two months, you can reduce its dose. It will give you relief from breast pain and mood swings, but won’t be of any help if you experience hot flashes. There are some side effects related to the intake of evening primrose and the most commonly experienced are headache, nausea and skin rashes.
